Epok’s starts every engagement with a short consulting engagement to assess business and technical requirements to develop a high-level architecture and project scope. The second – and most important phase – is to develop a detailed architecture of every aspect of the solution to ensure it meets our customer’s business, technical and security requirements. The third phase of the project is to execute on that architecture.

Requirements Analysis and Baseline Architecture
This 3-5 day module includes performance of a site assessment and delivery of a high-level architecture and solution estimate. The deliverables are a:

Solution Architecture and Execution Plan
This module provides a detailed solution architecture and execution plan. The architecture addresses, as appropriate:

• MOSS extended feature integration (such as search, social networking)
• Business continuity
• Custom web part and SharePoint features
• Rights management
• Workflow process and integration

Solution delivery
The final module ensures that the solution has been tested against the requirements. Documentation and training is provided to the appropriate technical and business personnel. Finally, in recognition that SharePoint’s use will likely grow and expand in an enterprise, we will deliver a life-cycle plan that highlights future options for leveraging your SharePoint investment.
